TAS Speed Runs

TAS Speed Runs stand for Tool Assisted Speed Runs.

While the speed run community is divided a bit on them, I think they are by far the coolest speed runs.

Perhaps the coolest TAS I've seen is the one for OoT.

I don't know if you guys have seen it before, but figured people might want to. When I first watched it, my mind was blown and I shat bricks.

For 7 minutes I thought that speed run was 10 minutes in total. Then I noticed it was only part one. :(

I've seen a TAS speed run where they beat Mario64 in less than 10 minutes, using glitches.

Oh yeah Mario 64 had huge glitches.

In OoT you can skip water and fire temple and the majority of forest. Well the majority of most levels gets skipped. It's so awesome.

Majora's Mask is pretty insane, but repetitive in terms of it's TAS. The bomb jump glitch in MM was too powerful to contend with.

TAS Speed Runs

if you didn't know TAS means they're playing the level frame by frame in an emulator using save states etc

the non-tas ones are awesome though
