Pretty crap quality video I have to say, from what I can gather Mario doesnt actually fly, rather he propells himself into the air with a jet of water, another secret revealed.

The Sunshine thingys are like stars on Mario 64...

On the video he gets one and does a little dance just like when he gets a star on N64
