Halo The Anime Series

Yeah, this is a weird merger, but eh.

Anime geeks will recognize the five production houses working on the films -- Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4[Degrees]C, and Toei Animation -- as well as the creative director helping to oversee production for Microsoft: Shinji Aramaki, director of "Appleseed" and "Appleseed Ex Machina."

That wasn't too exciting... but maybe it is for Halo fans?
And oh, did they put Samus in?

4C's ODST/Spartan rivalry story.

Production I.G's "Duel"

Production I.G's Spartan origin story.

4C's History piece (two-parter)

Toei's off-canon "Odd One Out" piece.

Re: Halo The Anime Series

So the first one of these is out for viewing on Halo Waypoint for free for today only.
It will probably pop up on youtube some time soon though, just not as good of quality.
Its titled "The Baby Sitter" and its actually pretty sweet.
Its a little short and im hoping the later ones will be longer but it was still cool to watch.
Theres was one little thing that I thought was dumb that im sure others will agree with, but all in all it was a neat addition to Halo.

I think he was referring to what Adam thought was dumb.

Anyhow, I don't think its too short, seeing how there are like 4-6 of these things forming a movie, you'd imagine none would be more than like 25 minutes or so. This may end up being one of the longer ones.

It was interesting, but not too up to knowledge on the Halo lure.

And I didn't spot what was dumb. :(

Here's some stuff.

Quote:

Warner Home Video is set to release 'Halo Legends' on Blu-ray on February 9, 2010, day-and-date with the DVD. The Blu-ray will include several hours of special features, including a BD-exclusive overview of the Halo universe up until the end of Halo 3.

Special features include:
Audio commentary with franchise directors Frank O'Connor and Joseph Chou
The Making of Halo Legends (with an introduction and making-of segments for each episode)
Halo: Gaming Evolved
Halo: The Story So Far (BD-exclusive)
I do like animation on blu-ray. The vibrant colors REALLY pop.

Re: Halo The Anime Series

Well what I thought was stupid was the amount of hair that the Spartan had, they are not supposed to have hair that long, it was like she had a mop on her head, and how did she fit it all in the helmet? Not Spartan regulation hair length, even for a girl!
But im thinking the CG one will be the coolest.

I don't know if you are serious or sarcastic

I'm hoping for the latter.

Both, I never said it was a big annoyance, just a minor detail that I thought was dumb.
