Re: R.I.P. Billy May
Is this real, or in the same vein as Jeff Goldblum?
|
Re: R.I.P. Billy May
It's real.
Do you think Oxiclean is useful in autopsies? |
Re: R.I.P. Billy May
Couldn't they have taken the ShamWow goblin instead?

Reading about Billy Mays' death this morning shocked me moreso then Michael Jackson. Since I was born in the mid-80's, I never became a fan of MJ. Plus, MJ had better days. Billy though....Billy was just reaching the peak of his prime. One of the 'few' credible Pitchmen with his face everywhere it seems nowadays, a voice that even though it was "booming" at times, it matched how he was, and just came off the first season of what I thought was a great show on Discovery. RIP Billy. I'll surely miss your voice the most. |
Re: R.I.P. Billy May
What's weird is that he was on Conan O'Brian earlier in the week, and topic of many conversations I've had such as "I wonder if that's how he talks all the time/I wonder if that's how he tells his kids to do things."

Re: R.I.P. Billy May
I swear I must be the only person who doesn't know who the Shamwow guy is. Keeps popping up everywhere. Had to go find the commercial on YouTube...and damn hard was it to find the original. I don't get the fuss. (Dell Dude too...what I get for not watching TV on my TV.)
That said, Billy Mays I did know, and he shall be missed. |

Re: R.I.P. Billy May
Holy crap, how could he die? TV will never be the same. :(

Re: R.I.P. Billy May
Hahaha thank you KG. I have been enlightened.

Re: R.I.P. Billy May
I liked Billy Mays because he never sold crap. All the products he pitched were good, and I still use Oxyclean and KaBoom to this day. It's rare for a saleman to be selective like that these days.

Re: R.I.P. Billy May
I'm really getting tired of this whole dying thing that celebrities insist on doing.
Last year it was adopting African babies, this year it's dropping dead. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I hate fads. |
