Imp vs. Ogopogo

Imp:

Quote:

Imps were often portrayed as lonely little creatures always in search of human attention and friendship and they often used their jokes and pranks as a means of attracting the humans friendship which often backfired as the person would eventually tire of the Imps pranks and become annoyed leading to them driving the Imp away.

Ogopogo:

Quote:

A monster named "Ogopogo," depicted as a large serpent, appears in Square Enix's video game "Final Fantasy IV."

Ogopogo is way more fun to say. Vote he gets.

Man, talk about two wimps. Tough call. What did Ogopogo do in FF IV? Was he one of those badass fighters that you call on to fight for you?

Re: Imp vs. Ogopogo

Hm is Ogopogo a FF-only character? If so, I'll have to go with the Imp.
Imps are universal.

But Ogopogo looks cool, I like that kind of dragon.

Ogopogo is the "Loch Ness Monster" of lake Okanagan in British Columbia.

It just so happened that on the wikipedia page it said it was a name of a FF character, and being that I said I would just pull amusing snippets from the descriptions, I went with it.

Serpent versus tiny flying thing that wants to be your friend... this is a toughie.

It looks like the Imp isn't getting the affection that it wants.

Imp sounds too much like Gimp. The Ogopogo probably eats armies of them for breakfast, and I like dragon type creatures. Look's like the 'G'imp is getting it's arse whipped.

At the risk of offedning fans...

Seriously...if a monster can be beaten by one of these guys

how tough can it be? You could flick one with your finger and land them in the hospital. That isn't a chocobo. That's them all standing next to a newborn chick.

Imps are serial rapists. You don't mess with them. Rape you and then give you nightmares....literally.

Ogopogo because it is local

Re: Imp vs. Ogopogo

Ogopogo because I know a pastor who claims he saw him one day. That was about 15-20 years ago though. For a second or two I've thought I saw ogo but it's always turned out to be some sort of rogue current causing waves.
I've had moments, chillin in the middle of the lake with my wakeboard on, and suddenly felt a death shiver, like a 100 ft monster just swam below me. The local natives used to be super freaked about crossing the lake. haha it's supposed to frequent Rattlesnake Island near Peachland so that's a bit south from where I live. I have a feeling that Ogo died of old age. That, or he was smart enough not to show himself to the ever increasing amount of people near the water.
