18:15 Infogrames has one of the biggest line-ups of all publishers at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, and one of the many brand new games due to be revealed for the first time on the show floor is RX (working title) on Xbox.
RX is a super-realistic racing game packed to the rafters with licensed vehicles, in which you speed through photo-realistic environments from across the globe. Rather than a straightforward race to the finish, you must build a racing brand by choosing a specific make of vehicle and, um, racing to the finish. Hopefully winning. But you do get to build the car of your dreams and pit it against real world classics like the Lotus GT1.

These early environment shots look pretty smart but don't reveal an awful lot about the gameplay. You'll have to wait for our full E3 report for that, coming very soon.

No really, nice scenes!

The pavement itself looks amazing, but the rest of the visuals are so spectacular...

Nice, but where are the cars? Unless these are all from the bumper cam of the first place car.

Nice Eye Candy...but racing sims are all about realism, so in order for me to be interested in this game, it would have to play similar to the GT series...

Hmmmm....This bit of info is leaning me more towards buying an Xbox rather than a PS2(since one of my fav. genres is racing). But I think I could already tell the 'box had a lot. But my buying is gonna wait for awhile(later on this year after getting a few big titles on another console)

Well, I'm probably just gonna stick with my 'Cube only since there are so many things coming out this year/next year that there is no need for ME to buy another console. This is my opinion so no one get pissed.

Looks nice, except for those nasty jaggies, nice textures on the road there. I am not seeing any actuall gameplay screenshots though, unless the cars are invisible :hmm:
