I know we did villains a bit ago, but thought would follow-up with this.

Who are some of your favorite gaming heroes?
Two of my favorites, share the same quality actually


Nathan Drake

Prince of Persia

I enjoyed that they both spoke to themselves during the game. You realize that not everyone wants to be a hero, but they do want to right their wrongs. Its a quality that allowed me to relate to them.

Squall from ff8 is a very complex character, without delving into angst too much. Vivi in FF9 is really good too.

Nathan Drake from Uncharted by far is my favourite. He's such a great character, not to mention the acting and the actor they chose for him is fantastic.

The Freeman.

He might not talk that much but hes the most badass physicist around.

Glenn from Chrono Cross. Whenever a conversation about what I'll name my kid comes up, I always throw out the name Glenn first, to which no one really appreciates, and then mention his brothers name, Dario (or Darius). Something about the characters appearance, family, and loyal knight disposition resonated with me the first time I played the game, and has stuck with me since.
