Poll: Are YOU happy with the current gen of consoles overall?
 

Now this is overall. Not now, not earlier. Overall. If you'd like post some opinions about your answers. Hopefully this doesn't go as crazy as BaB's Wii thread earlier. :D

I'm guess I'm not. There's nothing that makes me want to play them. And as I've mentioned a few times before, I may be outgrowing it. It could also be I'm just too busy with school and don't have the time or desire to commit my little free time to playing any games right now.

I an completely impressed with the PS3's quality and usefulness in my gaming life since I've had it (until it stopped working a few days ago, of course), and even though I don't own one, the 360 is a very good "playing with friends" console, and the Wii is a good "playing with friends in the room" console.

All three are fantastic. We've had some great moments this generation, so far. It can only get better from here on out.

I like it enough. That doesn't mean I've very content with it. Could have been better.

But I can't say or would be an abuse of power.. or can you see? :confused:

Anyhow, this gen is a mixed bag for me.
There has been some truly awesome games, but most of the experiences I have had felt too.. me to for my liking.

I think GTA IV was the prime example where I got like a quarter through and just stopped because I felt I've seen it all before.

I'm gonna say, as an RPG man myself, this generation is doing nothing for me. I loved MGS4, and Lost Odyssey was a treat, but aside from those and the occasional fun rental (Devil May Cry 4, Gears, etc.), I'm not really excited about anything.

For a while I thought maybe I was outgrowing this stuff, but I recently went back to some old PSOne era games and had a blast going through some of the greats. PS2 era rocked too, for RPGs especially. I guess maybe Final Fantasy XIII is the only thing on the radar, and if Team ICO announces something new, that'd be sweet.

Absolutely. I love my 360, and wish I had a chance to play it. I got my King all ready to go in Castle Crashers that I need to finish, and I would kill to play some Call of Duty 4 right now. I just don't have time, but I'd love to play these games.

And if there's one game I'm looking forward to, it's Call of Duty 4-2 :D Can't wait.

I'm not as excited about most of the games this time around. Maybe that's because I'm older though.
