Its out, forgot to get in this morning.

Ill try to get it and post my impressions later.

I really enjoyed Ace Combat 6, hopefully this will be better!

What the hell? Third person blows. Every fight I had in Ace Combat six was in first person. Third person is too slow in aerial combat. Not to mention, there's blindspots at every angle if your plane is always in the way.

I also had hopes for this game.

Third person would be better if it was directly behind the plane instead of off to the side. But no, it was to be a jerk, and its extremely hard to fly in with expert controls.

All you have to do is get past the tutorial and you never have to touch 3rd person again :P

On another note, i like the gates you can fly through to either line up a shot or escape a missile.
