Misfire - A forum game of confusing proportions

So I just thought of an idea for a thoroughly ridiculous forum game that won't require much time from anybody

It's kind of an experiment but we'll see how it works out.

Essentially every round, everybody votes in this thread for someone to take out. You can retract and remake votes as much as you want. But the rules for elimination are different.

The person with the most votes will not be eliminated. Only the players with the second and third amount of votes will be eliminated.

It's a strategic voting game. Every round, someone will be selected by random number generator to get a guardian power to protect one player aside from themselves to be voted out.

In the event of a tie, all people tied for second or third will be eliminated.

Ex.

Player 1 - 9 votes
Player 2 - 7 votes
Player 3 - 7 votes
Player 4 - 6 votes

I take each vote total as a place so technically 1st is 9, 2nd is 7 and 3rd is 6.

Therefore, Players 2, 3, and 4 would all be eliminated. If there was a player 5 with 6 votes, he too would be eliminated.

If multiple people are tied for 1st, they all survive.

SIGN UP AND DESTROY EACHOTHER!!!
