It's 11:30 and still 2008... but I'm going to bed. No use worrying about 2009 when I can still get 30 minutes of quality sleep in 2008.

Here's hoping 2009 is better than 2008. 2008 sucked.

Amen to that. I'm spending the first day of 2009 watching the Winter Classic. I wish I could decide which team I'm pulling for.

Happy new year everybody!

2008 was a pretty huge year for me, with both ups and downs.

The biggest up was me leaving my school of 5 years (which I absolutely hated) and transferring to a different one. Huge, huge change :)

The biggest down was me finding an unbelievably perfect girl for me, and losing her in a pretty short time. She was "not being ready for a relationship", we had a huge argument and stopped talking to each other. At least we shouldn't have argued, damn.. :(

Just stick with it man, there are like 3 billion women on the planet, plenty of fish in the sea.

True. I just need some time to let it cool down a bit. I'm almost over it, so.. :)

Hey Bube sorry to hear that. Give yourself whatever time you need. The right girl will come along if you keep patient.

Yeah, 2008 was ok. Can't complain, I learned how to surf and basically spent a lot of time with friends and dodging responsibility. I separated my clavical/shoulder back in February and that took a long time to heal. As of just over a week ago I either fractured or tore the ligament in my ankle whilst snowboarding. It was a stupid move on my part, I ollied off a tall bank on the side of a cattrack and basically just kicked it too high...landed on the flat cat with all my weight coming down on my back leg which basically hyperflexed. Heard a popping noise. The dr referred me to the xray cuz there's a good chance i cracked bone. So yeah, I'm renting a condo with my friends in one weeks time and I'm praying it's just a ligament tear which should hopefully heal by then. If not I'm gonna be a sad bear for a while. boarding is my cocaine.
2009. The year I stop procrastinating with school and actually pull A's. hurrah Hopefully we won't have to fight in some damn war.
