Farcry 2
 

I bought this game, despite not liking the original basis of the series.
However, Farcry 2 has nothing to do with mutants and monsters.

This game, simply put, is pretty amazing.
The graphics are fantastic, the dialogue is well-done, and the gameplay is open-ended and completely gigantic.

This is by far the best FPS I've ever played (for realism), nothing is even comparable to it in my mind.

Fire spreads on the grasslands, depending on which direction the wind is blowing at that time. Tree branches can be blown off trees, and then grow back at a later time. The game is decently challenging, and I haven't once found myself bored with it.

I'd tell all of you who love FPS' to buy, or at least give it a go with a rent.

I picked this game up when it came out and have had fun with it.

I have not been able to play it much because of Fallout though. The one thing that concerns me is that is starting to seem very repetitive....but then again I have not played too far into it

Multi player is just alright. Seems like a watered down cod 4 combined with its own styles. Wasnt a huge fan of it.

The multiplayer is fun if you like creating your own maps. There's (seemingly) endless possibilities and it's extremely in-depth, if map making is your bag.

The map making IS pretty awesome. And I love the added depth of changing time. We played a map called Have A Rice Day and it was almost impossible to see people on the other side of the rice field when it was night time.

I really like this game. The environments are exactly what Turok should have been. I'm very impressed.

I would just like to point out the hilarity of BAB's signature, and would like to state, that me and Phil could not stop laughing when we went super safari hunter in Farcry 2, and started ramming Zebras and Gazelles with the jeeps, and exploding them with grenades and whatnot.

Hours of fun.
