Nintendo refurbs
Anyone ever get a refurb from Nintendo?
My DS has a bad left shoulder button and it costs 75 to get it fixed, but I can get a refurb for 85 with a one year warranty and a different color. I dunno if I should just stick with a refurb or go seek a new one. |
Re: Nintendo refurbs
Can't you fix it yourself? I always screwed open my Nintendo controllers and replaced buttons etc. Make 1 good controller out of 2 crappy ones.
Of course it's easier with controllers, since they're cheaper. And you probably already sent it to Nintendo. So for $10 more you can get a new one? I'd take that deal. |
Re: Nintendo refurbs
Only time I got a refurbished Nintendo dealie was when my Wii acted up, and they replaced it free of charge with a refurbished unit...
Seemed to me to look and work just like new, granted I didn't even keep it a year before selling it... |
Re: Nintendo refurbs
Never got a refurb from Nintendo. Never had any reason to, every Nintendo product I have ever owned has worked perfectly the entire time I have owned it.

Clearly the OP has not been as fortunate as you two, hence the existence of this thread. It's like a non-life-threatening version of someone with cancer asking about people's experiences with chemotherapy, and people responding with "I can't say, for the experience with my body has been nothing but positive, no hazardous growths of any kind to speak of." and "^^^ Truth." My basic point is that you're both baby killers. Terrible, I know. But the truth. |

I was just trying to make a point, that Nintendo's products dont break. Now there are exceptions to every rule, of course...
