Power Pros 2008!
 

I'm not sure what the mood of GameTavern is in terms of what games people play around here, but I figure I'd put it out there.

Power Pros. Awesome game, yes? Discuss.
New version? Better? Discuss.
PS2 or Wii? Which is better? Discuss.

I am planning on picking it up today so I will join the discussion as soon as I sit and lose sleep over it!

I just want to see a little blockhead Joba Chamberlain. That's all I really want!

I'll bite so you don't feel bad. :p

Not huge into baseball games.

But it does look fun. However, I don't know if its worth the 50 bucks for me.

And for a baseball game I would go Wii. I think the first game used motions well enough where you aren't pitching/batting the entire 9 innings.

Actually I think the game for the motion controls is the MLB 2K series. They have you pitching and swinging and such for 9 innings (which isn't a problem for us stringy, high energy sorts).

Power Pros, on the other hand, only utilized the motion controls for the Derby. And as I am aware, this version is the same way. I would think they would at least have it as an option!

I am the laziest community member ever. I've been a part of GAF for over a year and I don't even have an avatar there. I find it hard to find one picture to properly define who I am.

My show is tonight.... stalker... but for Power Pros, I think I may sacrifice another hour of sleep when I get home.

I ended up getting the PS2 version. Why? Because it was $20 cheaper and I hate to proprogate stereotypes but I am a cheap Jew.
