The Matrix announced for Bluray!
 

I don't know if they'll be offered individually too or not, but the entire Matrix series is coming out on Blu-ray.

Matrix was actually announced a long time ago. They announced it was coming exclusively for HD DVD on its initial release and would come out for Blu Ray when Sony got their act together and provided a small fraction of the features Blu Ray claimed to support.

Now there's not much choice, but the Matrix has always been on its way to Blu Ray.

Haha I saw a few Bluray discs in a store yesterday. Like 10 or so. They had blue cases.

You would think something as awesome looking as a Blu-Ray movie would have a nice case.

But they are the cheapest flimsiest looking things I have ever seen.

It's nice to finally have a standard design rather than the ugly, completely random DVD case designs we've seen over the years. :)

There's also two types of Blu-ray cases - the locking ones, and the newer non-locking ones. I prefer the old ones a lot more, but the new ones are definitely not as flimsy. Also, I love the smaller design, as I can fit more than 30 on one shelf next to my PS3.
