Lost Comedians
I was watching a biography of Victor Borge, a great comedian and talented pianist, and I thought about a lot of comedians who have been lost to time or premature death. Victor is one that I have rediscovered. Its old style comedy, based on timing and not irreverancy, so you have to invest in it before it starts paying off.

Phil Hartman. Newsradio was one of the best sitcoms on TV but then died along with Phil.

Re: Lost Comedians
I loved Chris Farley also. Though I'll never forgive him for how he died. But pretty much all the ones mentioned so far I agree with.

An incredibly similar story with John Belushi, only the woman he was with actually served time in prision for lethally injecting him with heroin. |

I sympathize with the "funny fat guy" problem. I somewhat have dealt with it for a long time because well, I do enjoy being humorous but I'm not trying to be that way hence finally losing the weight even if it means I seem less funny. I never knew images were posted by the hooker. Just saw them and wow, it's sad seeing him like that but it doesn't disturb me. Thanks though for pointing it out since I was a big farley fan and somehow never knew those existed. |
