PS3 CD playback
 

Shouldn't CD album art display if I just pop a CD in my PS3? I'm a little disappointed.

It doesn't display on the 360 either (to my knowledge).

Whoa, CDs have their album art embedded now? Why haven't I ever seen this!? Song and album data was a big surprise for me, but this!

CDs don't have it embedded (I don't think). But I would think that the PS3/360 could look online and find it.

Hmm.. I've never listened to audio cds in my 360. I put them in and rip them immediately :)

Yeah, to my knowledge I don't know about album art being embedded onto a CD track, or if the PS3/360 will display album art from an MP3 that's been tagged on a computer for example.

Digital downloads have album art embedded into the MP3 though. The newest NIN album had a different cover per song, which I thought was pretty cool.
