Haha, Clapton's version is actually my favorite, especially considering the circumstances around which he sang the song... but I wanted to mix it up a little bit.

Agreed. I remember hearing this on the radio at 2 AM once and thinking that it must be one of the most absurd vocal takes ever put to tape. I mean, seriously? I couldn't stop laughing thinking of the song without the music and just hearing Axl belt it out. It's ridiculous.

Parents played both Bobs growing up. Not sure which I prefer. Think Marley.

I probably gravitate towards the Guns N Roses version....it's the one I hear the most. But I also like the rawness of Dylan's original.

It's been covered by A LOT of artists. It's an okay song, maybe I would like it more if it wasn't played so much? It's certainly not a good representation of Dylan's long and amazing career. :p So, on that note, it is one of Guns N Roses better songs, which says a lot about how much they suck. So yeah, I think I prefer the Axl Rose version.
