The only way that I'll play Gears 2 online is if host advantage is gone. And that's unlikely - XBL is P2P.

Lucky you, host advantage is out. Gears 2 MP will be nowhere near the same as Gears 1.

well its still p2p, and theres still going to be issues with that. always is. people just dont have enough upload bandwidth on a home connection to do it perfectly.

im almost wondering if they're just going to add a slight artifical lag to the host to put it on even grounds with everyone else.


But what they need to do is let people host thier own servers on the computer that the console can connect to. then you'll get more people. bigger worlds, less lag, etc.

but see how it goes. hopefully it all got fixed and is working better.
