Bale. Never even bothered watching Casino Royale. But Bale... From Empire of the Sun, through Equilibrium, to El Maquinista, he's great.

You should really watch Casino Royale. The movie is amazing and looks fucking beautiful on Blu Ray.

Also as much as I hate to say it, I second Aladuf. Casino Royale is a bad-ass movie. Some awesome action scenes that aren't completely mindless.

If you liked Casino Royale, I heartily recommend Layer Cake. It's a British Gangster movie, kind of like Snatch, and Craig was hired for Bond because the MGM executives loved it so much.
