what should i do about my brother
 

okay, so i was in my brother's room looking for camping stuff because we were going camping (super neat!) and he said he'd leave it out for me. this was yesterday. so today i went in and could not see anything lying around like he said, so i assumed he put it somewhere else. so i cruise around the house but there's nothing to be found, so i figure he just didnt actually bother to do it, left them in the closet or something in a rush to get to work.
so i reenter my brother's room and open the closet and start rifling around (normally i wouldn't do this, i feel its a breach of privacy) looking for the stuff. I find the tent, a sleeping mattress thing, and one of those emergency blankets and put it in a pile in the main of his room.
i go back in the closet and i can see the hot dog poker things in the back against the wall behind some boxes, right. i try to yank them free but they're kind of stuck between this stack 2 boxes tall; so i try to pull the boxes aside but they be heavy. so i take the top box off and then i see it.
i dont want to get too graphic but there before me were a few "pleasure massagers," knives, cuffs, some explicit magazines/dvds featuring small people, and a few things i dont even know what they were for.
so im in there freaking out, and i hear the door downstairs open and someone start coming. so now im panicing, and i cant really move fast because: 1) theres a pile of stuff blocking my way, 2) a lot of potential puncturing stuff around me, and 3) theyd hear me jumping and rushing out of the room and stuff.
so the person i can hear is now walking down the hall towards the room and i don't know what to do. so the first thing i think of is, ill grab the hot dog pokers and when they investigate ill just say what i was doing and try not to mention the strange materials. so im holding the pokers, standing in the closet and now time like, slows down to a stop pretty much. i am FREAKING OUT/
so my brother finally walks up to the closet, swings the door open, sees me sitting in the corner next to the open box of terror-love clutching a hot dog poker completely dumbfounded. he doesnt say anything, just looks at me, looks around, and realizes what ive seen. i saw the look on his face change from "wtf" to "oh shit" to "WTF!!!"
so i get up and dont know what to say so i just spurt out "i was getting the camping stuff" and shimmy past him and start to leave
and hes like "wait dont... nevermind"

now i dont know what to do next time i see him.
advice please?

DVDs are pretty embarrassing though. He should rip that stuff to his computer and store it in a hard-to-find place on the desktop.

Why on the desktop where someone could still find it. Get a file hiding program.


But really, you have to say something to him, other wise it will be awkward as all get out for quite some time. I'd just walk up to him, make sure he knows what you're thinking, start to say something, pause, and say, "You know what, you got your own thing going and I'm ok with that."

At least, that's what I did when I found my brother's stash of naughties....

Haha, yeah, that has to be the most awkward thing that could possibly happen to someone.

I'm with Yoda though. Just tell him you didn't mean to see it and that you don't care, and that you both never have to speak of it again.

Dude. I'm not making excuses for the guy, but there's no telling if the guy gets off to that stuff. He could have gotten it to watch for the lulz.
