Dyne's blog - May 25th - Back to work I guess.

So in the last few days I've been playing the hell out of Paper Mario and shmups. I've accrued eight and a half hours into Paper Mario. I got Bow the Boo and defeated Tubba Blubba. I JUST got the train for Toy Town but I haven't gone anywhere else there yet. I got stuck in the pipe dungeon in the town, with all those purple koopas, and I gave up. Ugh. I'm starting to appreciate the game for what it is, rather than being in the shadow of the masterpiece that is Mario RPG.

As for the shmups, it's exclusively the Star Soldier series. What a great series of games. I figured out how to move faster in the older games, Blazing Lazers and Super Star Soldier, by pressing minus. I exclusively play on the wii remote sideways. I'm just used to it. I'm also playing the WiiWare Star Soldier R. Still a great game, and definitely worth the 800 points.

I almost bought Panzer Dragoon 1 today as part of a buy three get one free at a local shop, called mostly music. I ended up getting The Office UK version, Angel season 1, Full House season 1 (for my girlfriend) and then the Terminator 2 Blu-ray, but none of that is gaming-related, even if I will watch them all on my PS3. :D

I talked a ton with the store owner, Todd, and we talked on a ton of subjects, including the storage debacle on the Wii. Why can't Nintendo just release a simple USB hard drive that's impossible to open with any tools? Even if it has 512 megs it's leagues better than what they have now. Or they could just let us run stuff off of the SD cards. That would be great. COME ON, Nintendo.

So BaB, I never played it either. Are you going to buy it for me too?

Maybe you have to rant a hell of a lot about it like I did. :D

That's not how it works.

Hahaha, yeah, I'm loving the comedy too. I loved Tubba Blubba's Windmill Key monologue.

Also, in terms of blog, I purchased Dr. Mario Online Rx for WiiWare and it is a fantastic little ditty. I really suck at it so I hope to get better by playing it a lot with people online.

I've been playing a ton of Dr. Mario lately. I revisited Paper Mario tonight and played for about half an hour through toy town. I have to wake up early tomorrow for a change so I had to cut it off early.

I also played smash bros today with BaB and Jason1 but Jason1's connection really threw me off and I couldn't play at all.

I want to start playing GTA4 again soon. Maybe when I'm done season 3 of buffy.

Ok, even though I played Dr. Mario for like 2 hours today, I managed to get into GTA4 again. What a great game. So very immersive. I only wanted to play like half an hour! It seems that's impossible.

Also, to give you an idea of how far I am: Michelle, that bitch! :(

:sneaky: Yeah I ended up playing more GTAIV, BaB. What a great game. I was just fucking around, and I went in to save, and I came back out, and I saw the sweetest thing. Some guy was getting walked to a police car with his hands above his head, and a cop pushing him there with a gun. He got in the car, and then the cop got in the backseat with him, and I honest to god followed the police car all the way to the police station. Amazing. They have little scripts for so many things.

Yet again, even more GTAIV last night, until 4am. So many great things happen in that game. I love how my date from the internet, Carmen (aka SoboHoe) is able to heal me OVER THE PHONE because she's a nurse. Hells yeah.

I wonder if the other girls have benefits too, and if you're a playa you get access to all this awesome stuff. I know if you form a man-bond with Brucie you get a helicopter to anywhere any time.

Also, I can't believe Dylan killed Playboy X for his apartment. Roman bought us a nice penthouse before I even got the option to kill him.
