Now before people start throwing hissy fits about more Wii shovelware being on the list (Looks at Aladuf) the list reflects game that had somewhat of a following and higher expectations that didn't quite live up to the hype.

So what did they do, take every popular game from the past few months, notice that they didn't receive 10/10s, and just call them disappointing I guess?

A lot of the games on that list I was actually pleasantly surprised with, so I guess hype is the killer.

I didn't read anything if there's an explanation, I just feel the top 10 shouldn't, you know - be more than 10.

I.. that's a good point.
Maybe Perfect Dark hype wasn't that high or maybe.
It seems like a LOT of these games are recent so recent disappointments.

he means that the games are disappointed......i don't see the issue? Assassins creed must be disappointed majorily in itself. Poor game :(

I just wanted to share the Mario Kart explanation since its the only one I cared about:





I rented this so I only got 5 days of play out of it. I'm not sure how true their statements are. I definitely didn't have as much fun with it as Mario Kart 64. I didn't play Double Dash or the handheld versions enough to be able to say that the games have simply lost their magic. But it seems Nintendo has been following a pattern of making games more playable for everyone. So it definitely could be possible that Mario KArt Wii was 'dumbed' down as the author suggests.

I don't know what they're talking about. I think it's way more fun than Double Dash. And this is the first Mario Kart game to have all of its courses online, not to mention the first step towards elimination of game-specific friend codes. I can see how it would suck if you were using the lame-ass gamecube controller, though.

I like Mario Kart on Wii, very fun indeed. There is a degree of skill involved. I think MarioKart on the ds is the best one, but still this one is good, no more snake whoring, which i loved to do, but that makes it better for the heavy characters.

OMG the best thing about Mario Kart Wii........Rosalina? When she says "yeaaaaaaaaaaah" it's the funniest thing ever. I love it. I just use her and she says "We won......yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaah". Listen to it! It's a h00t and a half
