Silent Hill V Movies
Yeah apparently May is the new old May. So these are from Konami's Gamer Day.

Re: Silent Hill V Movies
Shrug...
The brand spankin' new all-American development team is still iffy to me... But supposedly they really had to prove to Konami that they were the team for the job, so you never know... Silent Hill 2 and 3 were a couple of the best looking games for PS2 upon their releases... But this game doesn't look like it's shaping up to be anything special in that department... Though I'm glad the story is apparently not connected to the usual Silent Hill cult figures, and the gameplay at least seems a bit more interesting than what the other games had to offer... Hopefully without succumbing to the series' typically sluggish controls... Shrug... Oh and another thing that's kind of lame is the stuff they're copying from the movie... The nurses are exactly the same, the shifting effect into the otherworld is the same, and there's even a scene in a bathroom that's exactly the same as when Rose shifts into the otherworld and the Janitor comes out of the stall... Only it's a nurse instead... |

Doesn't look very enticing.

Not really Silent Hill.

Re: Silent Hill V Movies
Man, I miss Silent Hill, been too long since a new one came out. So yeah, looks pretty passable, graphics are ok, voice acting seems pretty good, and we can expect the usual awesomeness in terms of sound and music. It does look pretty by-the-books Silent Hill, would've been interested in seeing what new directions the original development team veered off into for a next-gen Silent Hill, but I'll except this for now.
