WiiWare announcements that I care about (so you should too!)

Incidentally both thanks to Telltale Games, WiiWare will be getting a couple of gems.

First off, Sam & Max Season One. An evolution of a couple characters from Steve Purcell's comics in the late 80's and made more famous by the original Lucas Arts point and click adventure game Sam & Max: Hit the Road. Season One, a continuation of the series, has been out for a few months on PC and (for the most part) is exceptional. It's Episodic, so you'll get a number of short adventures released over the span of months.

Secondly, Strong Bad (of http://www.homestarrunner.com fame) is getting his own game titled "Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People." I expect more than a few of you are familiar with the Homestar Runner website and either love it or hate it. It is one of my favorite websites, and I visit it each Monday for the (usually) regular updates. This is also planned to be released in episodes (currently 5 with room for more).

Yeah, WiiWare's looking like it won't suck after all. :D

I'm still kind of fed up with the lack of external hard drive support though. I want some DLC!
