Quick question about Brawl
 

So I've been playing it for a while and it's pretty much the best game ever :). Assuming that some of you have it already, I had just one question.

If you have 4 wavebird controllers (probably same with regular GC controllers) plugged in to your Wii, is there any way to select a different controller type when you choose your character? Because right now, you have to physically unplug the wavebird if you want to use the wii remote and I don't like that very much.

Online Brawl leaves a lot to be desired...

There's definite lag and it isn't any fun without voice chat. How am I supposed to verbally abuse people when I pwn them?

They don't even allow custom names to float above your character...

I don't know...

I've experienced no lag with the Japanese version (overseas servers). So I expect it's either a local issue or the servers are just getting slammed and it'll get better. :confused:

Apparently Nintendo has been having some problems with Brawl and the tube known as Teh Internetz. I'm not at all surprised but I suspect they will have it fixed soon enough.

I moved it into my room thinking that if it were closer to our WiFi, I would get better performance. For the most part, the online play has improved since my last writing. Although, I still get kicked offline occasionally. And I've also had some lag moments.

Usually at night, which is problematic seeing as you and I are on opposite coasts. But um, I could be on earlier. Post in this thread your usual hours of play.

I played a few matches with BaB last night but the lag was so bad it was really hard.
