As you all may know, Portal took GOTY as GDC's Developer's Choice awards. Gabe Newell took the stage, and said a little haiku.

Meanwhile, for those of you who pay attention, the Independent Game Festival awards took place, and DigiPen students took "Best Student Game" for the second year in a row (the award is only 2 years old).

Immediately after Gabe's speech, recruiters were apparently surrounding DigiPen students and giving them plenty of attention. Thank you Mr. Newell for securing me a job upon graduation :D
