Eli Manning - not as bad as we thought. |
Re: Superbowl XLII: The Aftermath
NY played better, and they were great on defense. But I don't really see what you've got against Brady? Yes, he couldn't do what he should have done, but that was because of the Giants smart plays.
And Manning really did turn the game around by himself, escaping the 4-man sack attempt. That was the best play of the game. I really wanted the Pats to win though, couldn't go to sleep after the game.. |

![]() "WOOOOOO!" What a glorious feeling...Giants deserved that game in every sense of the word. ![]() ![]() |
Re: Superbowl XLII: The Aftermath
Earlier in the season there was some kind of... Razor blade commercial or something that deemed Eli Manning "Unstoppable"...
I always had a chuckle... "Of all the QBs to call unstoppable", I'd say... |
Re: Superbowl XLII: The Aftermath
It was just kind of funny that the New England O-line that has received so much praise was unable to protect Brady last night. They should have lost to the Eagles and the Ravens. It was inevitable.

Re: Superbowl XLII: The Aftermath
So which one was the underdog again? They lost, right?

The Giants were, if I remember correctly from the pre-game show, the lowest-seeded NFL team to ever make it to the Super Bowl... And only the second wild-card team (and the first of the NFC division) to win it... The Giants were pretty much as much of an underdog as you can get... |
Re: Superbowl XLII: The Aftermath
Billy B's face afterwards was priceless.

Re: Superbowl XLII: The Aftermath
His press conference was the most amazing of all. I think he uttered 12 syllables in 5 minutes.

You have to feel sorry for Tom Brady though, now he has to go home and count his money and have sex with Giselle.
