guys i got smashed and now i have a hicky, how do i get rid of it? i tried toothpaste and ice!

Actually thought you said toothbrush... Rub a toothbrush over it to break up the blood clot.

oh great thanks! I tried the toothbrush and witch hazel is on now, the tooth brush was quite wonderful and the witch hazel i hope works

meh unless you are cheating like breakabone is insinuating or going for a job interview just leave it. say you nicked your neck while shaving....or bust out the makeup, which is what the ladies do.

Don't ask me how I know this... but this does work. It won't get rid of it completely, but it will help it make less obvious. Since a Hicky is just blood pulled up to the surface of your skin, just massage it. You are going to break up all the blood that has been "sucked" there.

You do understand that you now have to explain the story of this "Hicky". :D

i also think that hickys are very tacky. okay so two days and i got rid of a large swollen hicky heres what i did

1.iced it as soon so i realized it was there
2.used a electric tooth brush with soft bristles and massaged it for about an hour (all the dark red excess blood went away so it was all one darker colour)
3.before bed put toothpaste on colgate whitening (minty fressh kind) rub in until it is gone them put more on surface. wait 20minutes for it to dry a little then go to bed (note i did feel a stinging sensation while i was awake.

the next morning you can barely see it with a microscope let alone a bare eye...
