The one that got away......
 

So I finally after a good year and a half, ableit lazy search I got my mits on a copy of Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Which i was starting to give up hope of ever owning.


That made me think. What games were you dying to obtain only to find that getting an actual copy was next to impossible?

Man, so many. The most recent huge catch was the Gamecube remake of PC Genjin (Bonk in the US), which is literally impossible to find now. I thought it was a year ago, but I searched ebay every day, and after six months, it showed up for $30. Needless to say, I was ecstatic.

I remember when I found Disagaea for $40 dollars.

Disgaea is going for $40 everywhere now. :(

Disgaea 2 is even cheaper, like $30.

Hm... The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past used to be like this for me and my brother. We sóld our copy when we got a N64, but years later we wanted to have it again. We kept an eye on the newspaper ads for years and finally we got it.

The funnier part of the story: There was one guy who was selling "30+ SNES games". I called him once and asked for "The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past" but he said he didn't have it. Months later I accidentily called him again and asked again for "The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past", no he didn't have it.
Then one day my bróther calls him. He simply asks for "Zelda" and guess what. :D He has that. He just didn't recognize that long and difficult name that I gave him.

Yeah, I picked them both up.



But back when I had been looking for it it had always been like....70 or something like that
