How to Kill a Brand

Re: How to Kill a Brand
Ha, very nice...Sony has really screwed themselves over. I cant believe some people still think they will win in Console sales this generation...

Re: How to Kill a Brand
All I saw was the first .2 seconds where it says "Sony thinks Wii is a novelty even though the Wii has sold blah blah blah".
Just because something has sold alot, doesnt mean it isnt a novelty. Chia pets? Tamagotchi? Pet Rocks? Potato Guns? |

Re: How to Kill a Brand
This has become a serious forum problem.
Wii-maniacs don't know how to stop running their mouths. You like the Wii. You don't like the PS3. We get that. Be quiet now maybe? |
Re: How to Kill a Brand
That video made me so happy, I have been satisfied for the rest of the week, best video on youtube.

Being quiet about hating the PS3 and Sony for being a highly successful company would be turning your back on everything Nintendo fans stand for: Being as annoying as they can possibly be every change they have to say Sony sucks. |
Re: How to Kill a Brand
What you say about Nintendo fans on this forum can be said about a lot of fans of other platforms, mostly on other forums.
Remember that GameTavern originates from a pure Nintendo site, long before some of you guys joined. It's not an excuse for fanboyism, but it's an explanation. |

"The way things were, the way things always will be"? So then I'll become German, and kill a jew. It's not an excuse for murder, but it's an explanation. I'll be Christian and invade Jerusalem. hell...I'll be American and bomb some brown people. As you said "long before". So that means for a (as you said) 'long' time, the site is not a Nintendo site. |
Re: How to Kill a Brand
Nintendo fans were ridiculed and and forced to question their entire belief system for 10 long years. And as seen in this thread, it continues. Many people care strongly for things that might appear atypical in nature to what others hold up high. But to call them out shows your own avowal on the subject at hand.
Let them have their Wii-shaped cake and eat it to... or used in a series of disturbing sexual photographs that your friend took and you didn't want to see but he forced them on you anyway and now you can't look at the fellow the same way and avoid eye contact whenever you pass by which basically severed the only friend he had resulting in his failed attempt at suicide but paved the way for an erotic bakery endeavor... I don't own nor have played any of the three systems, but I did not care for Sony's arrogance in promoting the PS3 these past few years (though Ken's quotes are still amusing to read). Er, I just thought the song was pretty entertaining. |
