Fake screenname?
 

Have you ever used a fake screenname as a prank? It could be either on AIM or YIM or a message board or whatever. Doesn't matter....



I did once. I used the Hazuki51 to first trick a few friends from school ... BLueFire I think....

I was ratted out though :D

Thought about it but never did... I know I'd slip up some how and it wouldn't last very long :p :D

Where's the all the time option?

Or even the Yes option?

I have over 50 AIM screenames.. half of them I used to talk to someone who blocked me or to play a prank.

gekko will vouch for me on that.. maybe BaB can too..

That was back in the day when I didn't even know about IP Adresses and such. I think that the admins could have had all the proof they needed to ban me, but didn't for some reason. So it is all good!

Like Joeiss, that was before my enlightment of IP addresses. I too, was nearly banned at one point. PureEvil even called the band-wagon :eek:

LOL....AIM is my puppet. If you don't know who you're talking to, you may be talking to me. I love playing tricks, and people know I do. (DH, Shooter...)

You have over 50 names? And I only got 10 blocked. You need to IM me more to block them all.


As for the pranks, I've done it quite a few times. Let's see through AOL, AIM and even e-mail accounts. It was all in good fun ofcourse.

No, Unless you count having a couple of Private SN's through your ISP for private contacts (family and extremly close friends), and Peaceful surfing I've never done it. I have a private AOL SN, but e-mailing it would do no god, because I've blocked all e-mails except for certain Family Members and Friends. I also have my Cable ISP SN, but I don't use it, it's only their for Cable access, I actually have to "empty" that one, becase I don't use it. The only wa you'll ever see these SN's in full use is if something hapens t this SN.

I've thought about adding an extra AIM Name for friends only, but I don't need it, and my YIM name only allows Certain Contacts, who have to e-mail me before I add them to my list of YIM buddies. If no one can reach it, that's why, and if no one could reach it before, it's because I accidently Delete YIM on my old PC, and only Recently DLed it onto my new PC.

I've never use a SN for a prank, and their are some staff members who have, I won't name names, you know who you are, but those names were mostly for contests in other fourms on GT that now require DBLN access.

So in short, I don't have any "hidden" SN's, except my Private ones, which are used for surfing, and cable acesss, and I wouldn't use any "hidden" SN's either.

Only 10 blocked? Ask gekko for some more.. he has a bunch of the other ones...

But last time I thought and counted about it.. I came up with about 52. That number's going to increase even more as the days go by.. I play a lot of pranks :D

And link.. your yes option as an "I'm sorry" attached to it.. and I'm no sorry for making those names :p

I think you just like to have flavor of the week screen names...

It gets quite annoying.

Isn't it? He messages you with this new screen name and says that it's gonna be his main one, then like 2 weeks later, he pops back on his old one... or a completely new one... And you can't take them off your list cuz he could just decide to pop right back onto one of the old ones and you're all like :errr: BLOODY 'ELL JUST PICK AND STICK TO IT! :errr:
