Zelda early game question
 

So after I finished the Forest Temple I realized I left a treasure chest behind with a heart piece in it. Only problem is the monkeys are now gone so I have no way to access that portion of the temple. Is there anyway to recover the heart piece or am I pretty much screwed?

You know, I never thought of that. But you do get the hookshot later on (some would consider this a spoiler, but come on now, who seriously didn't know there's a hookshot in the game?), so maybe you'll still be able to come back for it.
