Got my Wii in 2 days before launch
 

Yarrr ;-D

I had preoredered it at the website of the biggest toy store in Holland.

So yesterday around noon the doorbell rang, guess what.... a package for me. :D

So there I was, unpacking it like a little child. Got Wii Play, a Nunchuck and Zelda with it.

The only problem is... I don't have a TV. >.< On monday I'll go to my family and play it there for a few weeks.

So yesterday I visited a friend to play there, tomorrow I'll visit another one. ^_^

Wii Sports is the most fun so far. Wii Play is a mixed bag, some games are great, some are so boring that I might never play them again.

Just played 10 minutes of Zelda, didn't want to bore the friend with my singleplayer.

Good stuff. I have it. It feels weird.

Grats on the Wii by the way, the initial shock of having it still hasn't worn off for me.

You guys with Wii Play are lucky bums. I hope they release it in NA.

Also, you definitely wouldn't bore your friend with Zelda. It's an amazing game. I remember I watched my friend beat half of OoT in front of my eyes and I didn't feel spoiled at all. TP is among the best, too.

It took me 12 hours to figure out what the pulsating blue light meant. I thought my Wii had simply chosen to come alive own its own due to an inability to contain its inherent awesomeness.

They are in January after enough Nintendo fanboys raged at Nintendo to release it here also (as you know, they decided not to originally for some screwed up reason)

I'm still amazed I got it so early..... Tomorrow I was going to wait at home for the package to arrive..... but no more stress! Well.... stress from not having a TV. >.< I just don't need one, or have the space for it. I watch all my stuff on my PC screen.

The trick is to beat Zelda in 3 weeks, think I'll manage? ;)
I started it yesterday, but the guy was commenting how it didn't have voice acting, how the graphics weren't that great, etc. So I'm actually glad that I didn't play it longer there. Tomorrow night I'll visit a friend who loves Zelda. :love:

So I just had to post it here. And of course tell my Wii Number later.

I'm exactly same, which is why it was quite disheartening to learn that they removed the ability to connect to a monitor.

I asked a store if there were (cheap) adaptars so I could hook it up to my monitor, but no luck. I had to get a TV card, the cheapeast was €40. Not worth it for 2 days of playing. :D Maybe 1 day when another big game launches and I can't be at my family.

Some 3rd party company will release a VGA/DVI adapter at some point
