I bought a 360
 

My bonus came in and instead of applying it all towards cc debt I went ahead and bought a 360 premium. I traded a bunch of stuff in though so that kind of softened the blow. Gamestop is still running their holiday special where they give you $80 for your Xbox if you apply it towards the purchase of a 360. In addition they give you Call of Duty and a 1 year system warranty for free. Besides that I got Gears of War, Viva Pinata, Condemned, and an extra controller.

I tried to trade in my GC but they wouldn't take it because it's the Japanese version that I converted to play American games. :(

I am gonna do that when I get my xmas bonus, but unfortunately this year they are halving it!

I actually haven't played the thing yet because I've been busy/depressed/overwhelmed. I do like the way you can shut the power off when you're watching a dvd and then pick up right where you left off when you turn it back on.

I actually took the first console back and exchanged it for a new one. The first one had a piece of something rattling around inside the case and it was driving me crazy. You could only hear it when you moved the console so it wasn't that big of a deal but for $400 I wanted it to be perfect.
