Wiimote - a disaster waiting to happen

That reminds me, when I first took my Wii out of the box I put the straps aside thinking "who needs these gay-ass straps?" Well not 10 min after my 7-year old niece started bowling she launched the controller across the room and smacked a picture frame. After that point all family members were required to wear wrist strips. :)

In other news, the first cases of Wii-elbow are being reported:

Nintendo vice president of marketing Perrin Kaplan put it plainly. "[The Wii] was not meant to be a Jenny Craig supplement," she told the WSJ. "If people are finding themselves sore, they may need to exercise more."

and a man in Indiana says he was "soaking wet with sweat, head to toe" after Wii Boxing.
Christ, imagine what would happen if these people played DDR?

I notice it gets a little warms after playing some tennis.
