Treasure clues

All of the clues to the location of the GameTavern Golden Key have been revealed. The first person to PM me with the correct answer will win the DS Lite. Officially the deadline for solving the hunt is Dec 31st at midnight central time. I think I have told you everything I can at this point. There are a couple of different ways of arriving at the same answer so if one avenue trips you up you can try the other route. Try not to stress too much over it though; It's not like Jupiter is going to explode and form a new star if no one solves this in time.

I think that if you take all the clues together you should be able to work it out. Of course that's easy for me to say since I know what the solution is. ;)

Are we definitely going to have to find the website that is mentioned, and if so I'm assuming that the answer will be there?

Re: Treasure clues

The website has not actually been registered for security reasons. I'll release a solution guide after someone PM's me the correct site or the deadline passes.

Jesus, I had a whole bunch of answers but thought if they were right i'd find them online. I discarded my research so long ago.

Bah. I'll have to figure out what I did again.

I tried to say several times that I did not actually register the website for security reasons. I understand how that could be overlooked though.

Btw someone just submitted an answer which was incorrect but I can tell that this person is definitely on the right track.

There are two parts to the puzzle (name part of the website and number part) and two ways to find each part. There's a reason why the story is constructed in the manner that it is. The story is all you really need... the clues are just extra.

wait, so if we type the website into the browser, it won't work?

Re: Treasure clues

Correct.

It would be too easy for the intrepid among you to trace what websites are registered to me. I didn't know of a way to ensure that didn't happen so I am erring on the side of caution. Though if someone knows a secure way of going about it then I might be willing to go ahead and register it.

Re: Treasure clues

Why is it that the clue that was revealed to me personally, Clue 31, is revealed to everyone, but the clues revealed to other members are not?

Probably because I forgot I had given that one to you. I'll make it up to you.

Because I hate you.

Actually he was talking about something else, the poem clues I said were going to be given to everyone. I already gave you an additional clue way back then.

You can't judge a book, or any other medium, by its cover.
