There's two red buttons at the end of the lane. At 91 pins, the bumper lines up with them. If you hit it, you get the strike.

hrm.. ive only played the bowling at a friends. sooo... what is this 91 pin thing? is it just a mission in single player. or can you play it against someone? (altho kinda pointless to play against someone with this cheat dealy)

This is part of Wii Sports training. It's the second Bowling exercise (the first unlockable one).
If you haven't found the training yet, look on the screen in Wii Sports where you choose which sport you want to play. On the bottom right are two large buttons. One is training, the other is Wii Sports Academy or something or other. The training has a bunch of different exercises that help you improve on certain strategies of each Sport. The academy is similar to Brain Age, where you do a series of trials and it gives you your 'Body Age' or something like that. |
