What's the most addicting game you have ever played?
 

A game you couldn't stop playing, or once you did, all you could think about was going back to it.

That's tough.
Final Fantasy VII was pretty addicting, and I couldnt put it down, even after my 5th consecutive play-through.

Hm, thats tough. Super Mario 3 comes immediatley to mind. As for something a little more recent, Super Mario 64 was mesmerising.

Ocarina of Time for sure, best game ever made. And I'll also give a nod to Metroid Prime, the best game on the Gamecube.

Oh, and Half Life 2. I had been waiting so very long for it, and completley lived up to expectations.

Civilization. Civ 1, Civ 2, Civ 3, and now, Civ 4. All of them. So many of my hours were poured into those games. Now that I look back on how much time I have spent on them...... it feels kinda sad. :(

But that's kinda cheating. That's like naming World of Warcraft. Naming WoW or Civ as an addicting game invokes a "Duh" response.

Recently Paper Mario for GCN sucked me in. But the thing was, I started off by renting the game, thinking I could finish it in one, maybe two rents. Boy was I wrong.

Also recently, Cruis'n USA for N64. Spending time unlocking all of the buses and jeeps and cop cars wasted a lot of my time.

Now I'm off to play Civ 4. :)

World of Warcraft by far... My first MMORPG... Bought it the day it came out.

Basically for 6 months, if I wasn't at work or asleep, I was playing WoW...
After that 6 month period, I still played quite frequently... And, although I've cancelled and restarted my account twice, I am still playing it today...

To top it off, it basically killed 90% of my interest in any other game... I can hardly call myself a gamer anymore...

FFXI... I'm kinda like Deathshand on that one too <.<; Playing it almost completly shut down my desire to play different games lol. (I mean, I love other games, but I'm not willing to buy much of any anymore :()
