Star Fox DS - Is it really this crappy?

where you draw lines to intercept enemies and fight them in a 3d environment that might as well just be a flat box?

Are any parts actually classic "shooter" star fox levels and not the 3-d crappy circle and circle levels? I hate this game!!!

It was ok didnt think the campaign was that great, played a few WIFI battles at my friends house, and it proved to be fun but not like ultra awesome.
