quick question...
 

going on a little trip with some friends over the weekend.. and was going to bring my DS to play with some of em, was wondering...

Do we all need to have the game or will they all connect if only 1 person has the game?

Check the upper right corner of the back of the game case. If it says, "Wireless DS Single-Card Download Play," then you only need one game for the lot of your friends. If it reads, "Wireless DS Multi-Card Play," then well, you'll all need the game in question.

Yeah, depends on the game, most games at least have some option for single-card multiplayer. Even the AGB had that with some games. :)

but since i cant check that now... how bout mario kart. im assuming thats one where you all need the game then?

Mario Kart has single card multiplayer, but all tracks and characters aren't available as far as i know.

A good amount of tracks are available, but they can only play as Shy Guy. You can play as anyone you want, though.
