One Game For DS
 

I'm probably going to pick up a DS tonight for my trip to Alaska. So, to all current DS owners: if you could only have one game what would it be?

Depends on what you like.

If you can stand it, Animal Crossiing. I played it for hours and hours and hours and I loved it. Wifi is a good extension and a motivation to play (to show people your house and town). I think it's perfect for any-time play, although during the night when Nook's is closed (after 11) it gets kind of boring.

If you like all-pupose action games, get Castlevania. It's a tad short, but damn fun and pretty, to boot.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike if you're looking for a challenge and fun. It's pretty long too, and the touch screen works very well. Drawing your own maps is the most fun I've had. It's like they built the DS just for games like this.

Mario Kart, if you're a fan of the series at all. I'd venture to say it's the best in the series. But it's more fun in multiplayer and wifi.

The New Super Mario Brothers I don't have much of an opinion on, but it's damn fun. Apparently it's really short. But if you're a fan at all of mario games you should consider this.

At the end of the day, I'd probably buy Animal Crossing again first, but as a blanket suggestion for anyone, I would say Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

I havent tried hte New Super Mario Bros yet but it seems like a game to play on a trip like that.

I liked playing The Rub Rabbits. you can do it in bursts but its fun to play even though its a little short

It depends on what genre you like more in all honesty

I have over 40 hours clocked into both Meteos and Castlevania. Love those games. If you're someone who likes to unlock all the little things in games definitely pick up one of these. Last summer I had a horrible stomachache on the airplane ride from LA to NYC. I played Meteos nonstop for the entire ride to keep my mind of it.

I'm actually selling my copy of ACWW on ebay now. I didn't grab me like the cube one did.
