Someone should spray paint some rings with gold and randomly hang them in the air with string. I wonder what townspeople would make of that.

They would say "This is Ludicrous! Money grows on trees on in the air!" then a hedgehog spray painted blue will come and collect them. And they will have to detain the hedgehog and hold it until criminal charges are brought forth.
