He also confirmed some functionality with Revolution.

That's really inconvenient. I set aside my entire summer for this and now it's not arriving until fall? Well, too bad for Nintendo. I'll be busy with school. No time for lousy games.

Looks like I'll be selling my cube now then. I hope I can get more than $5 for it.

I highly doubt it will live up to everything it's supposed to be.

Thats where I tend to disagree with you... as much as Nintendo is hyping this one up, with development people saying numerous times how they want to beat Ocarina of Time, maybe they really will. And to prove that they are really serious about that statement, they are delaying the game to make it better. God only knows how many of the most talented people at Nintendo are chugging away at this as we speak.

Well, I just mean when something is set to release, and in development for so long, it rarely ever lives up to the hype. Ever.

And the fact it will be out for the Cube, during the time when the next gen will actually start to take off is sort of odd. That would be like releasing a much anticipated SNES game well after the N64 is on the shelves.

I look at this Zelda game how I look at the new Final Fantasy game that comes out. They've both been put off for a while, and pushed back. And since they will be released so late, I just dont think it would make the impact it would if it was released sooner.

But I guess by releasing in the "fall" (they put it in quotations, because its obviously going to be released in teh winter) they can hope to sell more copies thanks to Christmas.

If they want to add Rev functionality to it also, release it at the "end" of the GC's life so that it seems like a semi-launch title for Rev. Unlike GC or N64 or SNES, this is the first true backwards compatible system for Nintendo which means they can do something like release the GC zelda late.

and Bond, usually Nintendo delaying a game makes it better ;)

My God. I haven't played my GameCube in literally 10 months, and it looks like that won't change for another 8 or 9 months. How the hell can a company like Nintendo completely drop the ball like this? They better have some huge, HUGE, plans for Revolution, because the GCN has been a horrible disappointment.

Okay, firstly, wasnt Ocarina of Time delayed quite a lot also? I couldnt tell you how long or whatever, but im quite sure it was delayed. Anyone who tries to tell me OOT didnt live up to the hype has something seriously wrong with them because it is the single greatest peice of entertainment software ever produced. That being said, I hope they can do the same with Twilight Princess. Oh, and when they say "fall" as the release date, Im sure they do actually mean "fall" because technically winter dosent start until December 21st.
