Do I sense a upward trend?

Must be the popular movies from books. Suddenly everybody wants to read King Kong.

Also, I see it as an increase because of Harry Potter and LOTR alone if anything.

I dunno about everyone else but for as long as I can remember when there was a movie coming out that I wanted to see which was based on a book I would read the book first. Never the other way around.
