I just asked for a 360 for my birthday.
 

As you may know I have my birthday close to christmas. So I asked for the 360 Core System with Dead or Alive 4, Perfect Dark, or Kameo.

Is this a pipe dream or what.

I kind caught that 'want it' bug right around when it came out. Then when Crash posted his eBay profits, I really wanted it. Now I'm waiting for a real one-hit-wonder game before I finally take the financial plunge.

Chances are if it's $100 cheaper, I'll have more of a chance of getting it!

However, this is special tactics - after I said I wouldn't mind the core system, I listed all the functions of the regular pack. As well, I'm taking into account the fact that most or all of the core systems around here were snapped up because of the holidays.

Anyways, the whole thing's an experiment. It's fun.

Just make sure you don't invest too much hope. If you open a present that's shaped like an Xbox 360 Core System but is actually something else, you'll feel real disappointed.

Yeah, I kind of want to be a one-console guy next generation, so getting an Xbox 360 would work against that.

I got very angry and vowed to never write a FAQ again because somebody will just cheat again.
