is there a free trial or anything cause i would like to have access to it for a week before i decide to spend dblns? maybe, if there isn't a free trial, u guys could make one.

I support this idea.

My guess is some Black Project forum members will want to keep newbies out of there even if it means having no trial runs for people.

Really, it's just 200 doubloons. It's not even real money. How much does it cost you? 5 inciteful posts? Perhaps 2 really good ones? If that's too much for you, I'm afraid you might not get a lot of sympathy.

Why? Well, it is only 100 dblns for a whole month (Come on Xantar, get with the new prices). Plus, there is some great topics in there, and I think that only paying members should be able to access them.

the only part that sucks, imo, is that you need 1000 posts to be able to get access..lol but that's my opinion, because i only have 600:)

What do you expect me to do, read every post in the General Forum?

If I didn't have all these doubloons from my post count, I'd be complaining too... Because if ya havn't noticed, not only do I lack the ability to make inciteful posts, but I didn't sign up at a videogame forum to act all big bad and "inciteful"... ;) *cough* :sneaky:

I've got the News Ticker turned off in my styleset because I have a Mac and the News Ticker looks awful. I'm not sure why. Maybe gekko would know. In any case, I don't read the News Ticker. Even if I had it activated, I wouldn't be able to read half of it because it would be off-screen.

Yeah, the ticker when I use Netscape doesn't even move. It just sits there, staring at me! :eek:
