I was flying around in the plane for around 10 seconds until I managed to fly myself half way through a building. And then the GTA3 world had flipped itself upside down, so I somehow was flying on the inside of the roof of the building. I was trapped I tell you, trapped!

But after much driving around with no place to go, I started ramming myself against the walls from the inside of this great beast. Just when I was going to reset the system, my plane started heading upwards, or downwards (whichever) into a tailspin and a couple flips only to crash through the building and ending up on the streets.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Yeah!

I was trying to land on the top of a building, and I was short and went through the side. Then, like you, I got stuck on the inside, and after a little movement (I think I got the plane moving so as to take off again, but while inside the building) I went through the other side and landed on the street.

I still haven't been able to get on the top of that building. :(

Stupid Dodo. I hate that cripple plane.

yeh, it happened to me. i think i was in the busy part of staunton island and all of a sudden i'm falling and the buildings and all are getting higher above me. all of a sudden i land in the street next to the stadium. it was like the wizard of oz!

another glitch is that when u fly over a stunt jump it does that thing where it cuts to slow motion of the plane flying and doesn't quit until u touch ground which isn't a prob unless you want to keep flying.

another glitch is landing in the middle of buildings and not being able to get out:(

I can't fly that damn plane for more than 8 seconds, so I wouldn't know.

There are loads of glitches like this in GTA 3, fly into the roof of the big domed airport building. The garden on the roof of Kenji's Casino (You can get underneath the swimming pool, looks weird.)

As for flying the Dodo, I can fly for ages, I have'nt quite mastered it yet but the trick is NEVER TO PRESS UP ON THE D-PAD, always move with very slight taps left or right, tap down to steady yourself, if you can see the red nose of the plane then tap down so you cant see it, do not try to gain altitude by letting the nose of the plane point upwards, remember, do not press up, the plane will gain altitude of it's own accord. Oh and be carefull not to fly over any Unique Jumps.

i always press up but never down:confused:

Another Glitch I know of, You know if you have only one star the cops will not shoot at you, right?. If you jump on top of a car they will shoot at you with one star weird huh?

I don't think that's a glitch. I think they do that because they can't jump up and get you, so the only way of killing you is with a gun. For now...

Yeah I agree with that, I've manged to fly it for 74 seconds, I used the analogue stick, first I held (X) and R1 to speed it up and let go of R1 to get it moving, as it went further down the runway I held up on the stick, until I saw sparks appearing from the back of the plane, when I saw this I just let go of the analogue stick, and it gently flew, and caught the wind, so it started to gain height... I then got the plane level useing the R2 and L2 butons to look at the side views so that I could make sure it was level and the gently tapped the anolougue stick to keep levelling the plane. Before I took off I headed the plane in the direction of main Shoreside Vale from the main runway (To the North West) because when I took off there is a drop in the land, thus making the plane highr from the ground, when airborne I slowly turned the plane towards staunton (Only tapping the analogue stick) and lined up with the stadium and landed in there :), one thing to remember is never panic when flying it, because then many people hold the d-pad or analogue stick instead of tapping it, causing the plane to crash, I can get airbone for over 30secs almost every time now:)
