Burns Bog
...Yeah, Burns bog is on fire again. They said once it was on fire for a period of months.
If you dont know Burns Bog is in Delta, British Columbia. It's the largest undeveloped urban landmass in North America. It is apparently the largest raised peat Bog on the West Coast or something like that. But its on fire again. I just sort of felt this deserved a thread for some reason. EDIT: So my buddy came over and I went outside, and its all smokey because of the fire on the bog. The bog is a ****ton of distance away. Sort of. My mom also said when she was a teen the bog was on fire for 3 and a half years. It smells like death. Death and campfire. |
Re: Burns Bog
did anyone else see the pun in BURNS Bog when you read that it was on fire?

I went on a university geological survey to the exact area it was burning about 6 months ago, so it's kind of funny and kind of creepy. On my way home from the campus today, it was really smoggy and I wondered why. I didn't figure out until I got home. |
Re: Burns Bog
OMG!!! people in the lower main land go look at the sun
The smoke makes it look red, its really quite a sight |
Re: Burns Bog
I looked at it all the way home.
It was neat. |

Re: Burns Bog
I remember once I went to the Bog for a field trip. I almost lost a boot. A knee high gum boot.
