You alos have to consider that gameplay will (hopefully) be a bajillion times better. Meaning every shooter game has destructable environments (realistically) and every sports game has changing facial expressions.


Graphics dont make the game enjoyable by itself.

First, this generation is continuing the cycle of 5-6 years before new consoles are released (except 360, which is being released 4 years after Xbox)...

Second, those games are both extremely good looking...

And third, on account'a the animation, effects, etc are much much MUCH improved over this current gen, screenshots really do not do these games as much justice as they have in the past... And yet they still look that good as stills...

Please explain to me exactly what you are expecting.

It seems like you won't be satisfied until you boot up a game and then Mario jumps out of the TV and drags you down a pipe to help fight Koopa Troopers. ;) :D

First of all, I wasn't saying "All games are horrible". I'm just spoiled by how quickly PC graphics are advancing :p

Second: Mario jumping out of a pipe? Intriguing nonetheless

Third: I was only judging the screens. I wasn't judging the entire life of the console. I know first gen games aren't the greatest looking. Hell, looking back at PS2 games, first gen...phew

I could have worded it better myself, but since others seem to think I'm still someone who doens't have an open mind to the other consoles (Hell, I'm planning on getting an Xbox soon if only for like 2 games) and maybe get a 360 but still undecided because PD was pushed back a little
